Tracey Pickett is an inventor who combines her legal mind with founding companies that are culturally focused. She started her career in entertainment law as a lawyer, and then worked for a healthcare tech company. While she knew she wanted to start a business someday, she followed a traditional career path at first (Forbes).

While at her full-time job, Tracey launched her first entrepreneurial hustle, Eboticon, working on it nights and weekends. After that success, she decided to solve another pain point she had experienced for years- rain messing up her hair! That’s when she invented and launched Hairbrella, “the rain hat, reinvented” (Hairbrella). Now, Tracey has taken Hairbrella further and developed a full face mask to make her product functional for essential workers during COVID (Afrotech).
